TULIPMANIA

This year TulipMania reaches well beyond the Spalding town limits and continues after the May Bank Holiday weekend as villages across the region join together to celebrate tulips in South Holland. From mid-April to mid-May you can enjoy stunning tulip-lined walks and cycle paths, village floral displays and many other tulip-themed events.

Collect a TulipMania leaflet from Springfield Gardens, Tourist Information Centres and churches or keep an eye out as you drive around the area for posters that look like the one shown here.

To avoid disappointment, please be aware that the acreage of tulips grown has decreased since the 1950’s and therefore the number of tulip fields has diminished. This does mean that, outside the TulipMania areas, the fields are widely scattered and can be difficult to access.

However, we hope that you will enjoy the beautiful displays and floral events to be found at Springfield Gardens, around Spalding and in the villages throughout South Holland.
